While doing a google search for educational podcast interviews, I found this Website devoted to Candice Miller's interviews. There are many to chose from, but I chose this particular interview due to the content. (I have found Teddy's expeditions to be interesting).
Description of podcast: This was an interview by Candice Miller, who was interviewing Dr. Moire Gunn about Teddy Roosevelt's River of Doubt expedition down a Brazilian river. Contained in the interview were many details of the trip, such as how Teddy lost one-quarter of his body weight during his trip down the river, how the trip began with 22 men, but 3 died along the way.
Review of podcast: The podcast began with a person speaking as a narrator with background music. The person gave a overview of the podcast, then a woman came in with a commercial. This was similar to listening to am/fm radio.
Technicially, the podcast was done in a professional manner: the sound quality was without unintended noises, scratch, awkward silence, or loaded with ums.
The interview was conducted in a professional manner which spoke of plenty of rehearsal. The transitions between the questions and responses were without hesitation, shuffling of paper, or silence. This interview was an even banter between the peosn asking the questions, and the person who was being interviewed.
During the entire interview, the listener hears the conversational tone of the interview, as the responses are with laughter and senses the relaxed stated of the interviewee.

http://www.talkingportraits.com/el-philip-nicholson-social-networking-teens-2006-06-18.mp3/audio_viewI did a Google search on educational interviews. My particular interests were of interviews with students. I found the Website Talking Portraits to be just what I was looking for. There are a variety of topics covered on this Site.
Review of podcast: This was episod 42 of Talking Portraits with Tom Perris. The interviewed person was Philip Nicholson, a student of Tom's that was about to graduate high school. The topic was teenagers and their social network.
Technically, the podcast did have some distracting aspects. One being that the background music tends to over power the interviewer. Also, the podcast does have audio glitches where there is a gap in the audio stream. I feel that the volume of the bacjground needed to be minimized so that the message of the interviewed could be focused on.
This podcasts' audience is probably intended for teens from a teen prospective.
The style of the interviewer was to pose a question, which at times seemed to be unrehearsed as there was awkward moments during the response.
